This monitor has 4 preset control programs (S01-S04)
TIME CONTROL (S01)
There are 4 time control (Interval Training) modes
- 14 x 1:30 (Rest: 1:00);
- 12 x 02:00:00 (Rest: 1:00);
- 8 x 4:00 (Rest: 1:30) and
- 3 x 12:00 (Rest 1:30).
E.g. 14 x 1:30 means that the user will run 14 series of 1:30 minutes at the selected “target speed” Every 1:30 minutes the machine will automatically drop the speed to a preset “rest” speed (8km/h). After 1:30 the machine will speed up again to the “target speed”. And so on until the full series is completed. Select the desired duration of the series by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys. Press MODE and select the desired “target speed” by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys.
DISTANCE CONTROL (S02)
There are 3 distance control modes:
- 8×500 metres, (50 second rest),
- 7×1,000 metres, (1 minute rest) and
- 3×3,000 metres (1:30 minute rest).
E.g.: 8 x 500 metres means that the user will run 8 series of 500 metres at the selected “target speed”. Every 50 seconds the machine will automatically drop the speed to a preset “rest” speed (8km/h). After 50 seconds the machine will speed up again to the “target speed”. And so on until the full series is completed. Select the desired mode for the series by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys. Press MODE and select the desired “target speed” by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys.
HEART RATE CONTROL (S03)
There are 2 heart rate control modes:
- 8×4 minutes (rest at 65% of maximum heart rate) and
- 3×12 minutes (rest at 65% of maximum heart rate).
E.g.: 8 x 4 minutes means that the user will run 8 series of 4 minutes at 80 – 95% of the maximum heart rate. The maximum heart rate is calculated as follows: 220 – the user’s age.
After 4 minutes the machine will drop the speed to 8km/h until the heart rate is at 65% of the maximum heart rate. And so on until the full series is completed. The user can set an initial “target speed” and the machine will vary it automatically (increasing or decreasing it) until the user’s heart rate is somewhere between 80-95% of the maximum rate.
INCLINATION CONTROL (S04)
There are 2 inclination control modes:
- 8 x 1 minute (1 minute rest) and
- 8 x 2 minutes (2 minute rest).
E.g.: 8 x 1 minute means that the user will run 8 series of 1 minute while the machine gradually increases the inclination until it reaches the maximum. After 1 minute the inclination will drop back to level 1 for a 1 minute rest. Select the desired mode for the series by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys. Press MODE and select the desired “target speed” by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys.
This monitor has a Cooper Test. Press the PROGRAM key until you reach d01. Select the start speed using the SPEED (↨) keys. At the end of 12:00 minutes running the machine will indicate your state of fitness.
In addition to the series programs, there are other standard training programs. Press the PROGRAM key until P01 appears. In the programs P01 (Warm-up) and P02 (Cool-down) TIME will flash. Use the SPEED (↨) keys to specify the duration of the program (5–99 minutes). The monitor has a default program setting of 30 minutes. Press MODE and use the SPEED (↨) keys to set the level of difficulty (on the TIME screen) (L1-L3).
For programs P03 to P08, press the MODE key and use the SPEED (↨) keys to set the TIME (5–99 minutes). Press MODE and select the DISTANCE by pressing the SPEED (↨) keys (1 to 99.9 km). Press MODE and use the SPEED (↨) keys to set the level of difficulty (on the TIME screen) (L1- L3).
Press this button when in manual or program mode to enter into economic mode. The machine will change the incline and configuration to reduce power consumption and the time window will alternate time with the word ECO. Press the ECO button again to exit this function.
USER PROGRAM MODE
The user programs allow you to design the speed and inclination graphs with reference to your fitness level. With the machine ready, press the PROGRAM key and P_01 will appear on the display, by pressing the PROGRAM key you can access the user programs (U_01; U_02; U_03), once you have chosen a program press the MODE key and the first step of the program you are designing will be shown in the TIME/DISTANCE window, the SPEED/INCLINE window will also be flashing.
Use the INCLINE(↨) keys to select the inclination level you want for the first stage (between 0 to 15), press the SPEED(↨) keys to select the speed that you want for the first stage between 1 and 22 km/h). Press the MODE key and this will take you to the second stage carry out the same procedure as in varying the speed and inclination settings for this stage, and so on up to stage 16 to complete the User Program Graph.
By pressing the MODE key you can program a time limit for the exercise (between 5 to 99 minutes). If the programmed exercise time is 16 minutes then each stage will last 1 minute. Press START/STOP and the machine will start after a 3 second countdown, shown on the central display. You can change the speed settings at any time during the exercise by pressing the SPEED(↨) keys, and the inclination settings by pressing the Incline keys.
BODY FAT PROGRAM
The (“F” BODY-FAT) program is designed to calculate the user’s body fat percentage. The body fat function helps you to calculate your body fat percentage.

The main screen will display the type of profile for your body type.
iOS OPERATION (compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch)
This monitor has an integrated Bluetooth 4.0 module. Download a Pafers App from the App Store (Check compatible apps at the BH website: www.bhfitness.com). Turn Bluetooth to “ON” in settings on the iOS device and the device will begin to search for active Bluetooth equipment in range. Select the appropriate BH Module from the list displayed on the iOS device to pair. Open the Pafers app to run it.
ANDROID OPERATION (compatible Android devices)
This monitor has an integrated Bluetooth 4.0 module. Download a Pafers App from Google Play (Check compatible apps at the BH website: www.bhfitness.com). Turn Bluetooth to “ON” in settings on the Android device. Open the Pafers app to run it. When prompted by the app, select the appropriate BH Module from the list displayed on the Android device to pair.
